A fierce polemic against the inequalities in our society today. The scheme exists as an embassy for all Transgender* people.
It is a project intended not for realisation in bricks and mortar. Instead, our ambition though a narrative, is to highlight a situation of increasingly hostility between two sides.
From this, we have developed a manifesto for the design of an entirely new state of existence. And it is here where architecture is embedded within deliberate contradiction in an attempt to provide a critical tool and platform for discussion.
It is a dramatic attempt to highlight the tales that remain largely untold in Turkeys today. An architectural warfare against oppression, committed not to timid improvements but to the provision of totally desirable alternatives.
